  • Recommended Action:

    Authorize the Mayor to execute the Notice of Completion for the VFW Re-roof Project (ISFB-11); and

    Authorize the City Clerk to file the Notice of Completion with the County Recorder’s Office.

Increase City Manager’s authority to sign change orders to KGG Concrete, Inc.

  • Recommended Action:

    Increase the construction contingency for City Hall Ramps Project (CIP F-03) in an amount of $20,000 and authorize the City Manager to sign construction change orders with KGG Concrete, Inc. for a total amount not to exceed $30,000, for a total construction amount of $420,000.

Quarterly report on grant activity for the period of July 1, 2024, through September 30, 2024.

  • Recommended Action:

    Receive and file report.

To replace previously approved Memorandum of Understanding of June 2023.

  • Recommended Action:

    Approve the Memorandum of Understanding between the City of Beaumont and the County of Riverside Department of Environmental Health for a five (5) year period for Vector Control Services.

Continued public hearings for the proposed adoption of the 2024 Development Impact Fee Nexus Study and Development Impact Fee Schedule.

  • Recommended Action:

    Staff recommends adopting at the maximum justified fees with no phasing and holding a public hearing to:

    Waive the full reading and adopt by title only, “A Resolution of the City Council of the City of Beaumont Adopting the City of Beaumont Development Impact Fee Study Update Dated October 31, 2024”.

    Hold a second Public Hearing:

    Waive the full reading and adopt by title only, “A Resolution of the City Council of the City of Beaumont Adopting the City of Beaumont 2024 Development Impact Fee Schedule Based on the Findings Set Forth in the City of Beaumont Development Impact Fee Study Update Dated October 31, 2024”.

Tri Pointe Homes has requested an appeal of the City Manager’s Notice of Finding Under Development Agreement dated August 17, 2004.

  • Recommended Action:

    Hold a Public Hearing;
    If necessary, continue the Request to Appeal Notice of Finding Under Development Agreement dated August 17, 2004 to the City Council Meeting of December 3, 2024

Consideration of a resolution vacating a portion of Euclid Avenue between Third Street and 560 feet south of Third Street and a portion of Third Street between Euclid Avenue and 300 feet east of Euclid Avenue.


 

  • Recommended Action:

    Waive the full reading and adopt by title only, “A Resolution of the City of Beaumont, Vacating a portion of Euclid Avenue between Third Street and 560 feet south of Third Street and a portion of Third Street between Euclid Avenue and 300 feet east of Euclid Avenue.”

Second Amendment to the Professional Services Agreement to include National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) compliance services for the Stewart Park Improvement Project (CIP P-10).

  • Recommended Action:

    Approve a Second Amendment to the Professional Services Agreement with PlaceWorks to Provide Additional Environmental Services for Capital Improvement Project P-10 in the amount of $28,765 and Authorize the City Manager to Approve any Necessary Change Orders in an Amount Not to Exceed $2,876.
