    Accept the public improvements, authorize the Mayor to sign the Certificate of Acceptance, and authorize staff to issue a bond exoneration letter for maintenance bonds for (Project / Bond Number / Improvement):

Beaumont Youth Council Report Out and City Council Direction

Approval of all Ordinances and Resolutions to be read by title only.

Ordinance and Resolution to adopt the 2024 Nexus Study and Fee Schedule for TUMF.

  • Recommended Action:

    Hold a public hearing;
    Waive the full reading and approve by title only, “An Ordinance of the City of Beaumont Amending and Superseding Ordinance No. 1091 to Update Participation in the Western Riverside County Transportation Uniform Mitigation Fee (TUMF) Program”; and,

    Waive the full reading and adopt by title only, “A Resolution of the City Council of the City of Beaumont Amending the Applicable Transportation Uniform Mitigation Fee (TUMF) Applicable to all Developments in the City of Beaumont.”

A request to operate an Automobile for Hire operation for Advantage Ambulance, Inc. located at 875 West Fourth Street in the City of Beaumont.

  • Recommended Action:

    Hold a Public Hearing
    Approve the PLAN2024-1030 Auto for Hire Application for Advantage Ambulance, Inc. to operate in the City of Beaumont.

Tri Pointe Homes has requested an appeal of the City Manager’s Notice of Finding Under Development Agreement dated August 17, 2004.

  • Recommended Action:

    Continue the Request to Appeal Notice of Finding Under Development Agreement dated August 17, 2004, to the City Council Meeting of January 21, 2025.

Approval of all Ordinances and Resolutions to be read by title only.

Appointments to Planning Commission, Financial and Audit Committee, Economic Development Committee and Board of Administrative Appeals.

  • Recommended Action:

    Conduct interviews followed by the selection process outlined in BMC 2.04.100

Award contracts for a term of one year to IMEG to provide facility condition assessments for 500 Grace Avenue and 105 Sixth Street.

  • Recommended Action:

    Award Professional Services Agreements with IMEG for a term of one year to provide facility conditions assessments for 500 Grace Avenue and 105 Sixth Street at the fixed rates in the attached proposals.

SCADA programming and system integration services for Wastewater Facilities.

  • Recommended Action:

    Award a Professional Services Agreement to SKM Engineering LLC for SCADA programming and system integration for wastewater facilities in an amount not to exceed $75,000.

Transition Partnership Program/Work Ability.

  • Recommended Action:

    Authorize the City Manager to execute the agreement with Riverside County Superintendent of School and Riverside County Office of Education.

City Council approval is requested for the FY 2024 Community Project Funding (CPF) Grant Agreement between the City of Beaumont and the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD). This agreement provides $1,000,000 in federal funding to support the Second Street Extension Project.

  • Recommended Action:

    Approve Grant Agreement No. B-24-CP-CA-0317 and authorize the City Manager, or their designee, to execute the agreement and related documentation necessary to implement the grant.

A resolution of the City of Beaumont accepting right-of-way for Veile Avenue as part of the conditions of approval for Hidden Canyon Industrial Park, Parcel Map No. 36426 (Project).

  • Recommended Action:

    Waive the full reading and adopt by title only, “A Resolution of the City Council of the City of Beaumont, California, Accepting Right-of-Way for Veile Avenue”.

Annual appointments to City Council Members to City and outside agency boards, commissions and committees.

  • Recommended Action:

    Discuss and appoint Council Members to each board, commission and committee.

  • Recommended Action:

    Approve invoices in the amount of  $93,722.90
