1. Written comments will be accepted via email and will be read aloud during the corresponding item of the meeting. Public comments shall not exceed three (3) minutes unless otherwise authorized by City Council. Comments can be submitted anytime prior to the meeting as well as during the meeting up until the end of the corresponding item. Notice of Completion (NOC) for the Citywide Traffic Signal Upgrades, located at the intersection of First Street and Beaumont Avenue (Project).

  • Recommended Action:

    Authorize the Mayor to execute a Notice of Completion for CIP No. R-13 Citywide Traffic Signal Upgrades at First Street and Beaumont Avenue.

Notice of Completion (NOC) for Fire Station 106, located at 2000 Western Knolls Avenue (Project).

  • Recommended Action:

    Authorize the Mayor to execute a Notice of Completion for CIP 2017-028 Westside Fire Station 106.

Completion of the Citywide Sidewalk Project (CIP R-24), located along Massachusetts Avenue (Project).

  • Recommended Action:

    Authorize the Mayor to execute a Notice of Completion for CIP R-24 Citywide Sidewalk Project.

Completion of the City Hall Renovation Project (CIP CF-104), located at 550 East Sixth Street (Project).

  • Recommended Action:

    Authorize the Mayor to execute a Notice of Completion for CIP CF-104 City Hall Renovation Project.

Beaumont Youth Council Swearing in and Report Out.

Approval of all Ordinances and Resolutions to be read by title only.

Public hearing and consideration of adoption of Riverside County Ordinance No. 523 by reference, adding Chapter 8.56 (Riverside County Ordinance No. 523 Control of Vectors) to the Beaumont Municipal Code.

  • Recommended Action:

    Hold a public hearing; and

    Waive the first full reading and approve by title only, “An Ordinance of the City Council of the City of Beaumont, California Adding Chapter 8.56 ‘Control of Vectors” to the Beaumont Municipal Code Adopting by Reference Riverside County Ordinance No. 523, as Amended through 523.3 ‘An Ordinance of the County of Riverside Relating to the Control of Vectors and Incorporating by Reference Ordinance No 75,’ Codified as Chapter 8.36 (‘Control of Vectors’) Et Seq. of Riverside County Code of Ordinances”.

  • Recommended Action:

    Receive and File the Parks Master Plan Findings – Capital Improvement Project P-17

Draft Downtown Revitalization Plan for review and adoption.

  • Recommended Action:

    ​​Adopt the Downtown Revitalization Plan as presented.

Consideration of a Resolution Authorizing Access to California Department of Tax and Fee Administration Data.

  • Recommended Action:

    Waive the full reading and adopt by title only, “A Resolution of the City Council of the City of Beaumont Authorizing Examination of Sales or Transactions and Use Tax Records”.

The attached compensation plan has been updated to reflect all new classifications approved in the FY 2025 adopted budget, one title change and additional position request.

  • Recommended Action:

    Approve the attached Uniform Compensation Plan.

    Approve the addition of one Community Development Director.

    Approve the elimination of one Budget Specialist.

    Approve the addition of one Budget Analyst.

Authorize an agreement in the amount of $200,000 for the purchase of mitigation bank credits for the Second Street Extension (Project).

  • Recommended Action:

    Authorize the City Manager to execute an agreement for the sale of credits in the amount of $200,000 for the purchase of mitigation bank credits associated with CIP R-12 Second Street Extension.

Third Amendment to the Professional Services Agreement for EXP U.S. Services, Inc. for the Beaumont Master Drainage Plan (MDP) Line 2, Stage 1 Project (CIP 2019-019).

  • Recommended Action:

    Approve the third Amendment to the Professional Services Agreement for EXP U.S. Services, Inc. for the Beaumont Master Drainage Plan (MDP) Line 2, Stage 1 Project (CIP 2019-019) with a new total contract amount not-to-exceed $597,420.

Renne Public Law Group, LLP dba Renne Public Policy Group has initiated an asset purchase agreement from Renne Public Law Group, LLP to California Public Policy Group, Inc.

  • Recommended Action:

    Authorize the City Manager to execute the assignment of the City’s current service contract from Renne Public Law Group, LLP to California Public Policy Group, Inc.

Reaffirmation of selected City voting delegates and alternates.

  • Recommended Action:

    Selection of a Cal Cities voting delegate and 2 alternates.

  • Recommended Action:

    Approve invoices in the amount of  $114,269.09.
