    Accept Security Agreement and Performance and Payment Bonds for (Project / Bond number / Improvement):

Requisitions 077-081 to send to Trustee for disbursement of bond proceeds to the City of Beaumont for Capital Improvement Project 2017-028.

  • Recommended Action:

    Approve the City Manager to sign Requisitions 077-081 to send to Trustee for disbursement of bond proceeds to the City of Beaumont.

Authorization to dispose of records that have met retention per the adopted retention schedule.

  • Recommended Action:

    Waive the full reading and adopt by title only, “A Resolution of the City of Beaumont Authorizing Destruction of Certain Records in Accordance with the Records Retention Schedule Adopted by City Council.”

Agreement for the use of 2023-2024 Community Development Block Grant Funds.

  • Recommended Action:

    Approve the Supplemental Agreement for the use of 2023-2024 Community Development Block Grant Funds.

Beaumont Youth Council Report Out and City Council Direction

Approval of all Ordinances and Resolutions to be read by title only.

Consideration of a Resolution Vacating Desert Lawn Drive, between Oak Valley Parkway and 2,500 feet south of Oak Valley Parkway and Interstate 10 Freeway.

  • Recommended Action:

    Waive the full reading and adopt by title only, “A Resolution of the City of Beaumont, Vacating the Right-of-Way Easement on Desert Lawn Drive, South of Oak Valley Parkway.”

Approval of all Ordinances and Resolutions to be read by title only.

Discussion on changing the City of Beaumont’s minimum Level of Service (LOS) requirement.

  • Recommended Action:

    Discussion and direction to staff with the following options:

    1. Direct staff to continue implementing the current LOS, or
    2. Direct staff to perform an in-depth analysis and bring the item back for further discussion

Cooperative Agreement (Agreement) for the State Route 60 (SR-60)/Potrero Boulevard Interchange Phase II Project​ (Project) between the Riverside County Transportation Commission (RCTC) and the City of Beaumont for plans, specifications, and estimates (PS&E) and right-of-way (ROW) phases for an amount of $5,706,000.

  • Recommended Action:

    Approve ​a Cooperative Agreement between Riverside County Transportation Commission and the City of Beaumont for the State Route 60/Potrero Boulevard Interchange Phase II Project​ for Plans, Specifications, and Estimates and Right-of-Way Phases in an amount not to exceed $5,706,000.

To award a contract with R Dependable Construction Inc. for construction services for Capital Improvement Projects (CIP) No. P-14 and P-15.

  • Recommended Action:

    Authorize the Mayor to execute the Public Works Agreement with R Dependable Construction Inc. for the Construction of the Veterans and First Responders Memorial Plaza, and

    Authorize Staff to Issue a Purchase Order in the amount of $1,499,350, and

    Authorize the City Manager to Approve change orders in an Amount Not to Exceed $149,935 for Capital Improvement Projects (CIP) No. P-14 and P-15.

Strategic Plan – Target #5 Quality of Life/Well Being - Goal #6 Complete Stewart Park and Sports Park Improvements – Priority Level #3

  • Recommended Action:

    Receive and file. Provide staff with any additional direction as needed.

First amendment to contract with Omni Pro Inc. for document imaging and quality control services.

  • Recommended Action:

    Approve contract amendment with Omni Pro Inc. with a not to exceed amount of $225,000 and extend the term of contract to July 7, 2025.
