  • Recommended Action:

Consideration of a Purchase and Sale Agreement for vacant and unimproved land (Assessor Parcel Numbers 418-091-013, 418-091-014, 418-091-015, and a portion of 418-091-016) located on 5th Street in the City of Beaumont.

  • Recommended Action:

    Approve the Purchase and Sale Agreement by and between the City of Beaumont and Douglas C. Jones and Terrence B. Jones; and

    Authorize and direct the City Manager, or her designee, to take any and all actions and execute any and all documents necessary to consummate the transactions contemplated by the Purchase and Sale Agreement.

Storm Water Management WQMP/BMP Facilities Covenant and Agreement for Plot Plan PP2022-0440, Orchard Logistics Center.

  • Recommended Action:

    Authorize the City Manager to approve the Storm Water Management WQMP/BMP Facilities Covenant and Agreement for Plot Plan PP2022-0440, Orchard Logistics Center.

City is retroactively pursuing environmental permits due to local emergency caused by the sewer mainline failure in Fairway Canyon.

  • Recommended Action:

    Receive and file.

Amendment to Professional Services Agreement with SKM Engineering LLC for SCADA (Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition) Programming and System Integration Services.

  • Recommended Action:

    Staff recommends the City Council approve an amendment to the Professional Services Agreement with SKM Engineering LLC to extend the contract term through June 30, 2026, and increase compensation by $20,000, for a total not-to-exceed contract amount of $95,000.

Notice of Completion (NOC) for CIP WW25-07 Sewer Bridge Maintenance Project (Project), approximately 725 feet long between the City of Beaumont Noble Creek Lift Station and the Marshall Lift Station.

  • Recommended Action:

    Authorize the Mayor to execute a Notice of Completion for the Sewer Bridge Maintenance Project.

Notice of Completion (NOC) for CIP WW25-05 Ongoing Pipeline Project, Phase 1, comprising manholes on various streets within the City of Beaumont.

  • Recommended Action:

    Authorize the Mayor to execute a Notice of Completion for the Ongoing Pipeline Replacement Project, Phase 1.

Beaumont Youth Council Report Out and City Council Direction

Approval of all Ordinances and Resolutions to be read by title only.

Adoption of the 2025 California Building Standards Code (California Code of Regulations - Title 24), 2025 California Wildland-Urban Interface Code (California Code of Regulations Title 24, Part 7) and 2025 California Fire Code (California Code of Regulations Title 24, Part 9)

  • Recommended Action:

    Hold a Public Hearing; and

    Waive the full reading and approve the first reading by title only, "An Ordinance of The City Council of The City of Beaumont, California, Approving the Adoption of the 2025 Edition of the California Building Standards Code, (California Code of Regulations Title 24), Parts 2 through 11 with amendments and amending portions of Title 15 “Buildings and Construction” of the Beaumont Municipal Code."

Approval of all Ordinances and Resolutions to be read by title only.

City-wide Uniform Rental and Laundering Agreement.

  • Recommended Action:

    Approve the three-year Workplace Solutions Cooperative Acceptance Agreement with Cintas Corporation for Uniform Rental and Laundering Services with the option of two additional one-year extensions; and


    Authorize the Issuance of a Purchase Order to Cintas Corporation in the amount of $65,000 under a Cooperative Purchasing Agreement through Omnia Partners, Contract No. 001299 for Uniform Rental and Laundering Services.

The City Council is requested to consider and approve the creation of a purchase order in the amount of $280,714.81 for Tyler Technologies. This action will consolidate all requested services and modules under a single vendor contract to ensure efficient system management and uninterrupted City operations.

  • Recommended Action:

    Authorize a Purchase Order to Tyler Technologies in an amount not to exceed $280,714.81.

Discussion of Truck Route Ordinance Implementation.

  • Recommended Action:

    Approve the draft ordinance amendment and direct staff to schedule a public hearing.

Summary of Credit and Reimbursement Agreements Associated with DIF, TUMF, and CFDs.

  • Recommended Action:

    Receive and file.

Provide City Council with an update on Beaumont Transit’s role and responsibilities, its coordination with the Beaumont Unified School District (BUSD), the transit services currently available near schools, and the funding sources that sustain operations and capital projects.
