Beaumont Youth Council Report Out and City Council Direction

Approval of all Ordinances and Resolutions to be read by title only.

Ordinance establishing clear policies to urgently address homeless encampments.

  • Recommended Action:

    Hold a Public Hearing and adopt effective immediately if passed by a four-fifths vote, “An Urgency Ordinance of the City of Beaumont, California, Adding Chapter 9.43 ‘Camping’ to the Beaumont Municipal Code and Amending Certain Provisions of Chapter 10.08 Related to ‘Parking’”.

Approval of all Ordinances and Resolutions to be read by title only.

Establish an Annual Encroachment Cooperative Agreement (Annual Permit) for Beaumont-Cherry Valley Water District (BCVWD) regarding right-of-way encroachments and pavement restoration.

  • Recommended Action:

    Authorize the City Manager to execute the City of Beaumont & Beaumont Cherry Valley Water District Cooperative Agreement Regarding Right-of-Way Encroachments & Pavement Restoration.

Approval to reappropriate unexpended expenditures and project rollovers.

  • Recommended Action:

    Approve the proposed reappropriation of General Fund expenditures and other funds in the amount of $1,515,440 and the rollover of all open prior year projects.

Consideration of a Funding Agreement for installation of a grease interceptor at the property located at 410 E. Sixth Street.

  • Recommended Action:

    Approve the Funding Agreement with David Shimshon for Grease Trap Improvements for the property located at 410 E. Sixth Street.

Consideration of a Resolution for a fee waiver request for HCN Bank’s Annual Trunk or Treat Event for Special Event application and Temporary Sign Permit PLAN2024-0093. Strategic Plan Target #5 – Quality of Life/Well-Being, Priority Level 2, Goal #5 Increase community events, arts and culture.

  • Recommended Action:
